On Tuesday 17 November, Spinnaker Toastmasters Club joined the Rotary Club of Plimmerton’s weekly meeting to celebrate and enhance Toastmasters International’s collaboration between the two organisations.
Following socialising and dinner, Spinnaker Toastmasters Club ran a mini-meeting chaired by President Gary Nicholson, with Table Topics, two speeches, and two evaluations. Gary also outlined the relationship between Toastmasters and Rotary in a short presentation. About 50 members of Rotary and Toastmasters were in attendance.
The President of Plimmerton Rotary Bill McAuley congratulated Spinnaker’s President Gary Nicholson on an informative and entertaining glimpse into the world of Toastmasters.
