Spinnaker member visits Sunshine Coast Club

Spinnaker member Dale Hartle recently visited the Caloundra Toastmasters Club based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Dale found the club warm and welcoming as an international guest, and she enjoyed the different activities the meeting had.

Dale also gave a prepared speech entitled “Post Pandemic Club Rebuild”, a description of three public relations strategies the Spinnaker club has used this year and the tactics to deliver them.

These included running the booth at the Porirua Expo, setting up a club Facebook site and using social media in a more engaging manner, and running the 4-workshop Introduction to Public Speaking series.

The Caloundra club members found this very interesting as they are looking at ways of increasing their club membership as well.
