Introduction to Public Speaking – 4 Workshops
Here’s an opportunity to try your hand at speaking in public to a group of enthusiastic interested friendly locals. Nervous – don’t be, it’s easy – you’ll banish those butterflies in no time!

Tuesday 21 March
Tuesday 4 April
Tuesday 18 April
Venue: St Andrew’s Parish Centre Hall, 11 Steyne Avenue, Plimmerton
Time: 7.30-9.30 pm, with a break for supper
You will need to attend all 4 sessions to get maximum benefit.
What you’ll learn: how to set personal goals, introduce yourself to a group, speak off the cuff, and give/receive feedback for others.
An experienced Spinnaker Toastmaster will be your mentor, offering guidance and ideas and answering your questions.
You will be joining a regular Toastmasters meeting, with half the meeting devoted to the Workshops, and you’ll see Spinnaker Toastmasters in action for the other half.
Online access by a desktop computer to Toastmasters International website resources via a special login which will be provided is essential so you can record your progress and receive your feedback.
