Everyone is welcome to attend our special Open Meeting on Tuesday 16 August 2022 starting at 7.30 pm at St Andrew’s church hall, 11 Steyne Avenue, Plimmerton. We’ll be rolling out the red carpet to our special guests.
This meeting will be chaired by Vice President Public Relations and Distinguished Toastmaster Dale, who has organised a “Showcase Toastmasters” theme.
Many people who attended the Love Local Porirua Expo expressed an interest in coming along to see what Toastmasters is all about.
At the meeting, we’ll be having an “icebreaker” speech by Angela, and 5 mini-educationals by club members talking about the history of our club, how to join our club, what is the Toastmasters Educational Programme Pathways, how Toastmasters will benefit you and what you’ll learn as a Toastmaster.
As this meeting is “hybrid“, some members will be joining us online, so you’ll be able to see how this works as well.
We’ll have a great supper lined up for you too, so visitors can chat to members and get to know us.

Free parking is on Steyne Avenue in front of the church hall, or in the commuter carpark over the railway lines.
