Contestants

All contestants must be familiar with the Rules for the contest in which they are competing and ensure they are eligible to compete. See the current year’s Rule Book.
Officials
Contest officials include the Contest Chairperson, two timekeepers, two tally counters, and for the Table Topics and Evaluation Contests, a Sergeant at Arms.
Specific forms for these roles are handed out before the contest begins by the Chief Judge. The Contest Chairperson briefs the contestants, and draws for speaking order.
Judges forms
All judges must complete and sign a Judges Eligibility form before the contest begins.
All judges, tally counters and timers are briefed by the Chief Judge and are given their forms.
The tiebreaker judge’s name remains known only to the Chief Judge.
