Spinnaker club member Gary Nicholson was runner-up in the national Table Topics Contest held on Friday 3 May 2024 in Dunedin, at the District 72 Annual Convention.
The topic was “What mistakes should children make as they are growing up?”
Luckily Gary had lots of experience with this topic and used his antics with his new grandchild as the theme.
There were 8 contestants altogether. Supporting Gary were Jacqui and Ron Blackwell from Spinnaker club.
Congratulations Gary for representing Spinnaker Toastmasters Club. We are all so very proud of you.
