Spinnaker Toastmaster of the Year (Contribution)
This award goes to the Toastmaster who has made the most significant contribution and achievements for the club during the past 12 months. This is usually the decision of the President and Vice President Education, and should take into account all the club activities during the year, including running Speechcraft, completing awards, and undertaking senior Toastmaster roles such as Area Governor or other District roles, mentoring, and new member sponsorship.

Most Improved Speaker
This trophy is awarded to the person who has made the most noticeable improvement in their speaking during the year. These improvements may be noted in the quantity and quality of prepared speeches, table topics and evaluations, receiving meeting awards, the range of topics presented, audience reaction and interaction, comments in evaluations received, and completion of their first Toastmasters Educational Award. An ideal candidate is someone who joined the club within the last year, or a Speechcraft graduate who continued with the club after the course. The recipient should have been a member for the calendar year in which the award is made.
If no-one is eligible above, the award could also go to an existing member who has made significant improvements or developments in their speaking style, such as mastering the use of the datashow projector, and completing difficult advanced manual assignments for which they have received outstanding evaluations.

The Knight Award for Motivation
This trophy is awarded to the most motivated club member during the year. This may be someone who has completed the Speechcraft Course and continued on with club activities, completing their first full Toastmasters Educational Award. Or the President and Vice President Education could decide an existing member has gone beyond the club in their Toastmaster activities, attending Area, Division and District events, speaking outside the club, encouraging and mentoring new members, and achieving higher level Toastmasters educational and leadership awards. The recipient should have been a member and the achievements are noted for the calendar year in which the award is made.
